Further developing and training your employees is a pro-active approach to ensure a thriving workplace. By making use of the best practices and procedures of the Skills Development Act, business growth is prioritised through ensuring a skilled workforce.
Employers who pay a Skills Development Levy, are encouraged to submit an Annual Training Report (ATR) and Workplace Skills Plan (WSP) to the relevant Skills SETA, determined by your business sector. Drafting, compiling and submitting these reports is a timeous and tedious process, which if done correctly and accurately could lead to acceptance of the grant. This would mean that your business could be paid back up to 20% of your annual levy’s expenditure paid to SARS.
